Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi (Welcome dinner)
Upon arrival at Noi Bai international airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to Hanoi Center for checking into the hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)
Breakfast at hotel. Our full day of sightseeing includes a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh's House built on stilts in a traditional Vietnamese style. Continue on to visit One Pillar Pagoda; the Temple of Literature, dedicated to Confucius; and the former "Hanoi Hilton" prison, so named by American POWs during the war. After lunch, explore the fascinating maze of back streets on a pedicab ride through the Old Quarter. Evening enjoy an entertaining performance at the Water Puppet Theater, an art form that originated in northern Vietnam over 1000 years ago. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi - Ha Long bay - the World best heritage (B, L, D)
Depart to Ha Long city, After 3.5 hours arrive in Halong City board the Huong Hai Junk to discovery the pictureque scenraries of Ha Long bay, overnight on Huong Hai Junk.
Day 4: Ha Long bay - Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast, free at leisure for swimming. Another wonderful cruise to visit Luon cave by a small bamboo boat, Tortoise island, Man's Head island. Have lunch on boat then cruise back Ha Long city, VietnamBambooTravel's bus transfer back to Hanoi. 16h00 arrive in Hanoi, check in the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi - Hue (B, L)
We catch a morning flight to Hue city to tour the city with a guide, visiting the Imperial city, the Thien Mu pagoda on the banks of Perfume river and Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue - Free at Leisure (B)
The day is at leisure to explore Hue on your own. Overnight in Hue.
Day 7: Hue - Hoi An (B, L)
In the morning, we drive to Hoi An ancient town via the Hai Van Pass and visiting the narrow streets of the town for the rest of of the day. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 8: Hoi An - Da Nang - Train to Nha Trang (B)
We proceed to Da Nang railway station to catch the day train to Nha Trang city (soft seat). Free at leisure. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 9: Nha Trang (B)
The day is at leisure to enjoy the paradise beach in Nha Trang or you can take an optional boat or cable car trip to the Hon Tam islands. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 10: Nha Trang - Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Today we fly to Ho Chi Minh City with the rest of the day at leisure to explore the city on your own. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B, L)
Full day Ho Chi Minh city tour with private car and guide, stopping at the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Post Office, the War Crimes Museum, the Reunification Palace, China town and Ben Thanh market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi tunnels (B, L)
Drive a long way on the country side of Vietnam to Tay Ninh, 100 km from Ho Chi Minh city. On arrival to the head quarter of Cao Dai religious, you will have a chance to witness the daily ceremony at Cao Dai Holy See, and meet followers come to attend the ceremony wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism, Christianity and Buddhism. Having lunch at a local restaurant then continue the trip to Cu Chi, visit the incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. Day 13: Ho Chi Minh City - Cai Be - Vinh Long (B, L)
06:00 Pick up at the hotel depart for Cai Be by car/van , stop for photos at Tan An town over the flat rice fields. On arriving in Cai Be, start the motorized boat ro visit the Cai Be Floating Market, experience how people exchanging goods, fruit and many other commodities on their vessels. Visitors then roam into the small villages to visit the orchard, fruit plantation... Keep cruising to Vinh Long through small canals to enjoy the charm of the Upper Mekong Delta. Visit some hand – made family business products such as the coconut candy mill, the crispy rice popcorn. Arrive in Binh Hoa Phuoc village – the green pearl of Vinh Long town where you can indulge yourself into the nature . Have lunch with fresh river food served in the heart of the garden. Enjoy the southern Vietnamese traditional folk music. Take a nice walk through the bonsai garden. Meet the car/van in Vinh Long. Return to HCMC and arrive at 18:00. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City & Departure (B)
The last two days are at leisure with optional coach trips to Tay Ninh, Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta. On the last day, go shopping or do some final sightseeing before the transfer to the airport for departure. |
