Day 1: Arrival - Hanoi (D)
You’ll start your luxury trip in Hanoi, Vietnam’s artistic and intellectual capital. Explore the fascinating Old Quarter before taking in a performance at the Thang Long Water Puppet Theater before dinner at a local restaurant and retiring for the evening. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)
On day 2, you can visit hundreds of specialty shops selling silk clothing, lacquer ware, embroidered linens, furniture, bamboo, cooking utensils, ceremonial objects and more. Then walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and ride a cyclo to dinner. You’ll be able to dine in gourmet restaurants, enjoy people watching at stylish cafes and shop for impressive modern art in the city’s many galleries. You can also choose to visit Hanoi’s main cultural attractions, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his House on Stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Fine Arts Museum and the Temple of Literature. Day 3: Hanoi (B)

Day 4: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)
08:00 Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and transfer to Halong Bay.
11:30 Arrive at Bai Chay/Halong pier.
12:15 Transfer by tender to the Indochina Sails boat - enjoy Welcome Drink. Receive cruise briefing and check in to cabins and begin cruise.
13:00 Lunch - deluxe Vietnamese and International Set Menu. Massage service is available beginning after lunch and throughout the cruise.
14:30 Arrive at Titop Island. Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach and climbing the steps to the top of the mountain on the island for fantastic views and photo opportunities. Water and towels supplied. We will spend about 45 minutes on the island.
15:15 Transfer back to the boat and sail for approximately 45 minutes to our second destination - the Bat Cave area.
16:15 Arrive at the Bat Cave area. There are two programs to choose from at this time. One option is a 40 minute kayaking program to the nearby Bat Cave and lagoon and surrounding waters. Kayaking is $10. per person unless already booked as part of your package. Water is supplied. The second option is to visit the largest floating fishing village in Halong Bay. We will travel to the village on the tender and tour the village for approximately 20 minutes.
18:30 Arrive at Luon Bo area - anchor for overnight.
19:00 Dinner - deluxe Vietnamese & Western Buffet or Set Menu Dinner.
20:30 Evening activities include: film entertainment in the dining room at approximately 9:15, board games and playing cards are available, join squid fishing from the boat with our crew, massage services are available. Also at this time we offer, when possible - depending on weather conditions, an excursion to a nearby squid fishing boat. We travel by tender and you will be able to board the squid boat and see how the local fishermen catch squid and other fish, the excursion lasts about 45 minutes.
21:00 - 23:00 Happy Hour! Buy one drink - get one free (wine excluded).

Day 5: Halong Bay - Hue (B) - by flight
06:45 Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the dining room.
07:00 Arrive at the Surprise Cave area, there is a small fishing village here. Relax onboard. You may join Tai Chi instruction on the sundeck at 7:00, duraion about 30 minutes.
08:00 Transfer by tender to the Surprise Cave. Walk up the 100 steps to the entrance of the cave and tour on foot for approximately 45 minutes.
09:00 Upon return to the boat take time to freshen up and please check-out of cabins. Please leave heavy luggage outside of the cabins (staff will transfer to the pier). Depart for Bai Chay/Halong pier.
09:30 Enjoy Breakfast Set Menu or Buffet served in the dining room. Settle bills in the dining room after breakfast.
10:00 Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room and enjoy the bay scenery as we approach the pier.
10:45 Arrive at Bai Chay/Halong pier.
11:00 Transfer by tender to the pier, relax inside the pier building while waiting for return transportation.
Our driver will pick you up at the pier and drive to the airport for the flight to Hue. Check in hotel in Hue upon arrival. Overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue City Tour (B, L)
At the nearby Museum of Royal Fine Arts, 128 ironwood pillars complement an exquisite collection of Nguyen Dynasty artifacts which you will examine, before visiting Hue Citadel, the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple City and the Imperial Museum. The tour continues with a visit to the Dong Ba market where you will enjoy lunch at local restaurant. Your stomach full, you can explore more of the area before settling in for a restful sleep. Overnight in Hue.
Day 7: Thien Mu Pagoda & Tombs (B, D)
Breakfast will be served before you board a private dragon boat for a cruise on the romantic Perfume River. The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop of the day and from here you will continue your journey to the magnificent tombs of Minh Mang and Tu Duc. Back to your hotel you will have free time and later have royal banquet dinner and an overnight stay. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue - Hoi An (B)
Today you’ll take a breathtaking drive from Hue to Hoi An via Da Nang city. In Da Nang, you can visit the Cham Museum and Buddhist cave temples in the Marble Mountains. Once in Hoi An, you will check into your hotel and have some free time to explore and enjoy the resort facilities and turning in for the night. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 9: Hoi An (B, L)
You will enjoy a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge. Following the tour, there will be free time for shopping, including visits to local tailors who can do custom made clothing very quickly. Then, you’ll take a break and have a peaceful evening stay. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 10: My Son Holly Land option (B)
Today you will have free time to shop, relax, unwind or take a trip to discover another the My Son World Heritage site. My Son is the former capital of the ancient Cham civilization that ruled Central Vietnam from the second to the thirteenth century and is considered to be one of the best-preserved Cham areas in Vietnam. The complex is comprised of seventy Hindu-like towers and temples dating from the second century. This site is a must-see for those people who are interested in architecture and ancient civilizations and is now one of five UNESCO World Heritage sites in Vietnam. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 11: Da Nang - Nha Trang (B) - by flight
You are free until being picked up at your hotel and transferred to Noi Bai airport for your short flight to the resort in Nha Trang. Voted as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Nha Trang boasts a six-mile stretch of fine white sand, quiet and warm waters, and stunning archipelagos. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 12: Nha Trang (B)

Day 13: Nha Trang - Ho Chi Minh City (B, L) - by flight
Today you will take a short morning flight from Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), the country’s commercial centre and home to a growing number of upscale restaurants and shops. You can visit Chinatown, the Thien Hau Pagoda, the Reunification Palace, the Opera House, the Hotel de Ville and the War Remnants Museum. You’ll visit colourful outdoor markets and bustling Dong Khoi Street, the city’s main upscale shopping boulevard with boutiques selling clothes and accessories designed by new Vietnamese designers, hill tribe crafts, high quality linens and house wares. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)
In the morning, you will take a half-day private excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels. At its height, the tunnel system stretched over 250km, from Saigon to the Cambodian border, and was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today, the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction, giving you a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S.-Vietnam War must have been like. Then relax in your hotel and fall restfully asleep. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 15: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta (B, L)
08:00 Viet Bamboo Travel’s guide will pick you up at your hotel and depart for Cai Be, stop for photos at Tan An town over the flat rice fields. On arriving in Cai Be, start the motorized boat ro visit the Cai Be Floating Market, experience how people exchanging goods, fruit and many other commodities on their vessels. Visitors then roam into the small villages to visit the orchard, fruit plantation... Keep cruising to Vinh Long through small canals to enjoy the charm of the Upper Mekong Delta. Visit some hand - made family business products such as the coconut candy mill, the crispy rice popcorn. Arrive in Binh Hoa Phuoc village - the green pearl of Vinh Long town where you can indulge yourself into the nature. Have lunch with fresh river food served in the heart of the garden. Enjoy the southern Vietnamese traditional folk music. Take a nice walk through the bonsai garden. Meet the car/van in Vinh Long. Return to Ho Chi Minh city. Finish the trip around 18:00 at your hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 16: Ho Chi Minh City - Departure (B)
You’ll probably be both refreshed and wanting to wind down your trip, so there are no activities planned for this day. Enjoy your free time and the last page of your travel until you are escorted to the airport for your flight on your way home or wherever your travels take you.
