Day 2: Phnom Penh City Tour (B, L)
Today, Your sightseeing has the following highlights: Wat Phnom; Wat Ounalom; Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda;; National Museum; Toul Sleng Museum; Central Market. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 3: Phnom Penh (B, L)
Excursion to Killing Fields of Choeung Ek: people tortured in the S-21 prison (a former school taken over in 1975 by the Khmer Rouge and turned into a torture chamber) were brought here to be executed. Many mass graves were found in this area. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 4: Phnom Penh - Saigon City Tour (B, L) - by flight
Transfer to the airport. Flight from Phnom Penh to Saigon. In the morning we visit: The Reunification Palace; Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office. Ater lunch at local restaurant we continue to visit: Giac Lam Pagoda; Cholon, including the Thien Hau Pagoda; Ben Thanh Market. Back to hotel. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 5: Saigon - Cao Dai Temple - Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)
08:00 am. Our guide will pick you up at the hotel. This morning you take a drive to Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh to observe the midday service. Following lunch we will drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels and then return to Ho Chi Minh City at approximately 18:00. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 6: Saigon - Cai Be - Vinh Long (B, L)
08:00 Viet Bamboo Travel's guide will pick you up at your hotel and depart for Cai Be, stop for photos at Tan An town over the flat rice fields. On arriving in Cai Be, start the motorized boat ro visit the Cai Be Floating Market, experience how people exchanging goods, fruit and many other commodities on their vessels. Visitors then roam into the small villages to visit the orchard, fruit plantation... Keep cruising to Vinh Long through small canals to enjoy the charm of the Upper Mekong Delta. Visit some hand - made family business products such as the coconut candy mill, the crispy rice popcorn. Arrive in Binh Hoa Phuoc village - the green pearl of Vinh Long town where you can indulge yourself into the nature. Have lunch with fresh river food served in the heart of the garden. Enjoy the southern Vietnamese traditional folk music. Take a nice walk through the bonsai garden. Meet the car/van in Vinh Long. Return to Ho Chi Minh city. Finish the trip around 18:00 at your hotel. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 7: Saigon - Hanoi City Tour (B, L) - by flight
Transfer to the airport. Flight from Saigon to Hanoi. Transfer to the hotel. Sightseeing in Hanoi (full day). Morning, we visit: Ho Chi Minh Complex including the Mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh Museum; The Temple of Literature; A local Vietnamese lunch. Afternoon: A traditional performance of the famous Vietnamese water puppets; we visit Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake; A one-hour cyclo tour through the narrow, chaotic streets of the Old Quarter - a must for any visitor to Hanoi! You will finish city tour round 17:00 pm. Come back hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 8: Hanoi - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc (B, L)
08:00: Viet Bamboo Travel's guide will pick you up at hotel and leave Hanoi Capital for Ninh Binh, enjoy the beautiful sceneries of the rural areas on the way. About 10:00 arrive Hoa Lu, visit the the two temples of King Dinh and King Le in the 10th century, finding out the heroic histories of this two Kings in Chinese Wars. After that, we go to Tam Coc (10 km far from Hoa Lu). Have lunch at local restaurant. After lunch you will get on bamboo boat - rowed by the local people - in Hoang Long river to visit Tam Coc (three caves) on the way, you also have chance to see the paddy field if you visit Tam Coc in April or September. 15:30: Back to the Harbour for the transfer to Hanoi. 17:45: Arrive in Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 9: Hanoi - Departure (B)
Free time for shopping or optional visit before transfer to Noi Bai airport for flight back home. End of services. Our staff will give you the warmest goodbye and hope to see you again.
