Lao Chai village: Located 7 Kms from Sapa, it is quite approachable from Sapa for a travllers who do not have much time. In this village which you will have a welcome feeling at any house of the hospitable people there. You can interact them, learn about their culture and customs. Ta Van is located in the northern province of Lao Cai, about 5 kilometres from Sapa, at an altitude of 1, 816 meters.

Itinerary

Night 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai

Viet Bamboo Travel's car will pick you up at your hotel and then transfer to Hanoi Train Station to get the night train to Lao Cai station. Overnight on train.

Day 1: Lao Cai - Sapa - Cat Cat (B, L, D)

Viet Bamboo Travel's guide meets you at the Lao Cai train station, and you depart for Sapa by minibus. Arriving in Sapa mid-morning, you check in to the hotel, have breakfast and short rest. After lunch, our guide takes you to visit two Black H’mong villages (Cat Cat Village) and a waterfall. There, you will have a chance to see the hydroelectric power station built by the French. After that, it’s back to Sapa for dinner. In the evening, you’re free to do as you wish. You can explore the town of Sapa. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2: Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Lao Cai - Hanoi (B, L, D)

After breakfast, Viet Bamboo Travel's guide takes you to villages populated by H’mong and Dzay peoples, respectively called Lao Chai and Ta Van. You’ll have lunch either with an ethnic minority family or on the way back to Lao Cai to catch a night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on train. Getting back to Hanoi at early morning. Take a taxi to come your hotel by yourself. End of services.
