I have tried several times but with no success, to reach you by phone in order to thank you personally for the great trip you have organized for us. Everything was prepared well – the guides were all of high quality ( especially "Hanks" in Saigon), the transportation, drivers and cars, the food and all the hotels fulfilled our expectations.

The ability to be flexible and change schedule are also very much appreciated. We could get a very good overview and learned a lot about Vietnam – the country, the Vietnamese people and the culture.

One conclusion from the trip is, that it would be preferred to go from Hanoy to Sapa by car, since we couldn't sleep at all.

In any case, once again thank you very much for your service and we all will be pleased to recommend you and your team .

We wanted to thank you and the whole vietnam bamboo travel team for a wonderful trip to Cambodia and vietnam.

Everywhere we went, the guides and drivers were always on time, courteous and knowledgeable. The hotels were very comfortable and the choice of activities and restaurants gave us a very good feel of the country, its history, culture, people and magnificent scenery.

Sung, our Cambodian guide was not that good. His English was mediocre and it was hard to understand him. In the afternoon, the plan had us going to a temple to see the sunset but the day was very hot and hazy, and he told us that we would have to go around 4pm and wait for the sunset for 3 hours, so we decided not to go. Instead of suggesting something else for us to do, he just dropped us at the hotel around 3pm.

Tiger, our guide in Ho Chi Minh city, was wonderful, spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable. We highly recommend him.

Mimi, our guide in Da Nang, notified us when she picked us up that she is new and didn’t have much experience. However, she went out of her way to be helpful, and even arranged for local guides to give us detailed information about all the sites we visited. We have no doubt that as her experience grows, she will become a great part of your staff.

Daisy, the food tour guide in Ho Chi Minh city, was exceptional. She and her crew made our motorbike food tour such a fun event that we recommended it to everybody we met along the way.

Nam (or “Noam”, a Hebrew name he introduced himself to us by) was great, navigating us through Saigon and taking us on a wonderful “street food” journey through the old city. We highly recommend him as well.

Tung, our guide in Sa Pa, was wonderful. Her English was great. On the first day, the weather was a little cold and visibility was limited, so she suggested to change the order of the tour, to make sure we maximize our enjoyment.

The cruise on Ha Long Bay was fantastic. Your choice of cruise company was great. The cruise director and the whole crew were very friendly and paid attention to all details. We were especially impressed that when Lucky, the cruise director, found out we were going to Cat Ba Island, he took the initiative to contact your office and change the transportation plan, to allow us to get a few more hours on the island.

And last, but definitely not least, thank you so much for helping me celebrate my birthday with a delightful dinner at the hotel, complete with a beautiful birthday cake.

Again, from beginning to end, the planning and the execution of the trip by you and your company were perfect. We will definitely recommend your services to our friends in the US who are considering a trip to Vietnam.

We especially thought that our guide, Tung, in SaPa was helpful and very professional, especially when our friend Lois Schaffer was knocked over by a woman on a motor scooter. She knew how to handle the situation and was very kind and considerate as well.

Our thanking is personally to you and we have to say (and please forward this email to your mangers) that we are travelling all around the world for years but we never came across with someone so dedicated, available and simply the best help someone can wish for as you are. The real test for a travel agent is at time of crisis and we saw how you act when we were about to miss our flight to HK and from there back home and you were simply the best. Thank you!
On the detail level – as you know we were not very happy with the hotel in Hoi An (and the guide there wasn’t so good FYI) and also in Pho qouc  I would have change the resort (mainly because at this season the sea was impossible to swim in and was very waive) but other than that we were happy with the rest of our trip.

On behalf of my friends and myself I want to thank you for the wonderful trip you planned

and organized for us in Cambodia and Vietnam,especially the quick change of plan because of

the Tyfoon storm that hit the beaches of Allongbay.

However I have some remarks that might help you with your elderly clients.

Some of the places in the tour were too difficult for people aged 75 plus, for instance the many steps to the waterfall inSappa, climbing the many wet and slippery steps to one of the temples in the day to Ninh Binh (were,by the way, my wife slipped and fell down.)

The English of most of the guides is very poor and hard to understand.

Something should be done about it.

I wanted to thank you for our lovely trip. I just posted a review on Trip Advisor.

A few little things.

We loved ALL of our guides and ALL of our drivers. EACH was excellent!

Next: The van home from Papa was a million times better than the one going. I would really stay away from that other company. The driver was crazy and dangerous and the van was packed with people...more like a public bus.

Hotels: The only hotel we were disappointed with was the Sokha Angkor Resort. We felt that it was bare bones. Not really 5 stars. WE had a city view room which meant staring at a tree. Maybe if we'd had a room on the pool. The pool is beautiful!! I think that would have made a difference but we didn't discover the pool til we were on our way out!! The service was good and breakfast good. It just didn't feel very "cushy." Our guide said that five stars in Cambodia isn't like five stars elsewhere!!

Happy to recommend Viet Bamboo to EVERYONE!!!

We suggest to take the bus back from Sapa. The train was a nice experience but taking the bus back is easier and more comfortable.

Vietnam and Cambodia are very beautiful places and the people were very nice.
We are sorry we did not have time to visit Ho Chi Min city and have an opportunity to meat you.
