Day 1: Arrival - Hanoi
Arrival in Hanoi. Transfer to the hotel. Free time and relax. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi - Perfume Pagoda (B, L)
08:00 Viet Bamboo Travel's driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel. Then we will have a two hour drive through the picturesque countryside and back roads to the village of Duc, where we get on a small boat for a one hour trip up Yen Vy stream to Thien Tru Quay. You may trek up (or take cable car) to the mountain to Perfume pagoda. Lunch will be ready after that. Going down and then get to Thien Tru Quay to visit more beautiful and precious sculptures, taking photos, worshipping, getting on boat again back to Duc Wharf. Drive back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi - Hai Phong (B, L)
By vehicle from Hanoi via But Thap Pagoda to Hai Phong. Journey northeast from Hanoi in Bac Ninh Province. We visit: Van Phuc Pagoda; But Thap Pagoda. Sightseeing of Hai Phong: Dinh Hang Kenh; Du Hang Kenh Pagoda. Overnight in Hai Phong.
Day 4: Hai Phong - Halong Bay - Hanoi (B, L)
Excursion by boat from Hai Phong through the Halong Bay. This boat trip around Halong Bay and past the islands of Trong, Mai, Am, Chen and Cong Troi (Heaven Gates) will include a stop at one of the following islands and a visit to one of the caves: Ba Trai Dao Island, Dau Go Cave, Bo Nau Cave,Thien Cung Cave, Hanh (Dry) Cave. By vehicle from Halong to Hanoi. Journey around Halong Bay to Hai Phong and west along Highway 5, across Hai Hung Province. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi city tour - Hue (B, L) - by flight
Full day sightseeing in Hanoi, a city of lakes, shaded boulevards and public parks, is the capital of Vietnam. We visit: One Pillar Pagoda; Temple of Literature; Hoan Kiem Lake; Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum; Opera House; ST Joseph Cathedral; Bao Tang Lich. Tranfer to Noi Bai airport and flight to Hue. Overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue city tour (B, L)
Transfer to the hotel and sightseeing of the Old Imperial City located in the Citadel. We will visit: Thai Hoa Palace; Halls of the Mandarins; Nine Dynastic Urns; Fobidden Purplr City; Tu Duc Tomb; Khai Dinh Tomb. Overnight in Hue.
Day 7: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (B, L)
Excursion on Huong Giang River to the Thien Mu Pagoda with boat trip. By vehicle from Hue to Da Nang. Journey south along Highway 1 past the Hai Van Pass and Lang Co. Sightseeing in Da Nang: Cham Museum, East Sea and the Marble Mountains. By vehicle from Da Nang to Hoi An. Journey south past the Marble Mountains and small villages. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 8: Hoi An city tour (B, L)
Sightseeing Hoi An and boat trip on the Thu Bon River. We visit: Quan Cong Temple; Phuoc Kien Pagoda; Japanese Covered Bridge; Tran family Chapel; Sa Huynh Museum; Phung Hung House; Quang Dong Pagoda. Boat trip on the Thu Bon River to Kim Bong village on Cam Kim Island. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 9: Hoi An - Qui Nhon (B, L)
By vehicle from Hoi An to Qui Nhon. Journey south along the coast and Highway 1 past Tam Ky and Quang Ngai. This region is one of the most arid in Vietnam. The nearby plains are dominated by rocky, roundish mountains and support some marginal irrigated rice agriculture. Overnight in Qui Nhon.
Day 10: Qui Nhon - Nha Trang (B, L)
By vehicle from Qui Nhon to Nha Trang. Journey south along the coast and Highway 1 past Tuy Hoa and Ninh Hoa. This region is one of the most arid with nearby plains dominated by rocky, roundish mountains, supporting some marginal irrigated rice agriculture. Sightseeing in Nha Trang: Po Nagar Cham Towers; Chong Rocks; Pasteur Institut; Oceannograpic Institute; Lang Son Pagoda; Nha Trang Cathedral. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 11: Nha Trang - Saigon (B, L)
By vehicle from Nha Trang to Saigon. Journey south along the coast and Highway 1 past Dien Khanh, Lam, Phan Rang, Phan Tiet, Xuan Loc and Bien Hoa. Ninh Tuan Province, where Phan Rang is located, is home to tens of thousands of descendents of the Cham people. We visit Polong Klong Garai Cham Towers. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 12: Saigon city tour (B, L)
At 08:30, you will be a picked up from your hotel. In the morning we visit: The Reunification Palace; War Remnants Museum; Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office. After lunch at local restaurant we continue to visit: Giac Lam Pagoda; Cholon, including the Thien Hau Pagoda; Ben Thanh Market. Bacck to hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 13: Saigon - Cai Be - Vinh Long (B, L)
08:00 Viet Bamboo Travel's guide will pick you up at your hotel and depart for Cai Be, stop for photos at Tan An town over the flat rice fields. On arriving in Cai Be, start the motorized boat ro visit the Cai Be Floating Market, experience how people exchanging goods, fruit and many other commodities on their vessels. Visitors then roam into the small villages to visit the orchard, fruit plantation... Keep cruising to Vinh Long through small canals to enjoy the charm of the Upper Mekong Delta. Visit some hand - made family business products such as the coconut candy mill, the crispy rice popcorn. Arrive in Binh Hoa Phuoc village - the green pearl of Vinh Long town where you can indulge yourself into the nature. Have lunch with fresh river food served in the heart of the garden. Enjoy the southern Vietnamese traditional folk music. Take a nice walk through the bonsai garden. Meet the car/van in Vinh Long. Return to Ho Chi Minh city. Finish the trip around 18:00 at your hotel.
Day 14: Saigon - Cu Chi Tunnels - Moc Bai - Phnom Penh (B, L)
By vehicle from Saigon via Cu Chi Tunnels, an important base during the American War, because of its strategic location. Dug out of hard laterite by hand tools without the use of cement, this amazing network was never discovered, to Moc Bai (border Vietnam / Cambodia). By vehicle from Moc Bai to Phnom Penh. Travel through south-eastern Cambodia passing through the towns of Svay Rieng, Kampong Tabek and Neak Loeang (ferry crossing on the Mekong River). Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 15: Phnom Penh city tour (B, L)
08:30 With our professional guide and privated car, we start to visit Phnom Penh. Situated at the confluence of the Mekong and Tonle Sap Rivers, the Cambodia's capital city look like a big village- town where French colonial influences can still be seen in old buildings restored. We will first go to see Wat Phnom Temple. Then we will visit the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda. The Palace is a magnificent example of Khmer architecture, it was built in 1866. You will see the Throne Hall and the Napoleon III Pavilion. Silver Pagoda is one of the richest shrines in the world. The floor is made of 5.000 silver tiles. Afternoon, visit of the National Museum, a Khmer red pavilion, which is dedicated to Khmer art and sculpture. The majority are from the Angkor period (9th to 15th century), and some from the 4th century. If you would like to see, you will visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and we will enjoy a boat cruise on the Mekong River to see Phnom Penh from the river, and watching the sunset over Phnom Penh. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 16: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap (B, L) - by boat
After breakfat, early morning transfer to pier for departure to Siem Reap by boat. Simple lunch on boat. Transfer to hotel for short relax. Afternoon, visit to Barray Lake then view sunset at Pnom Bakheng. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 17: Siem Reap - Angkor Wat (B, L)
Early morning, view sunrise at Angkor Wat. Transfer to hotel for breakfast. The same morning visit South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch at local restaurant, short relax at hotel. Afternoon, visit Grand Circuit including Pre Rup, East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean, Preah Khan, Baksei Chamkrong and South Gate of Angkor Thom. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 18: Siem Reap - Angkor Wat - Depart (B, L)
After breakfast, tour to small Circuit including Prasat Ravan, Banteay Dei, Srah Srang, Ta Prohm, Takeo, Thommanon, Chau Say, Tevoda. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon, check out hotel, visit to the World Seventh Wonder of the Magical temple city of Angkor Wat until Sunset. Transfer to airport for flight back home. End of services.
