Day 1: Arrival – Luang Prabang
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage city known for its golden temples, colonial charm, and scenic riverside setting. The rest of the day is free to explore at your leisure.

Day 2: Luang Prabang – City Tour (B)
After breakfast, explore Luang Prabang’s cultural treasures, beginning with Wat Sene, the city’s oldest temple, and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong, a masterpiece of classical Lao architecture renowned for its elegant sweeping roofs and intricate decorations. Continue to Wat Visoun, home to the city’s oldest and most impressive stupa.
Later, climb Mount Phousi to visit its sacred gilded stupa and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Luang Prabang, the Mekong River, and the surrounding mountains, especially at sunset. End the day at the vibrant Night Market, where local artisans and hill tribe communities offer beautiful handmade textiles and traditional handicrafts.

Day 3: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave (B)
After breakfast, visit Xang Khong Village, renowned for its traditional Saa paper making and hand-weaving crafts. Continue with a scenic Mekong River cruise, enjoying breathtaking views of the tranquil countryside along the way.
The journey leads to the sacred Pak Ou Caves, a revered pilgrimage site housing thousands of gold-lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. En route, stop at Ban Xang Hai Village, famous for its locally produced rice wine, and admire the dramatic Pha An Limestone Cliff, one of the Mekong’s most striking natural landmarks.
Return to Luang Prabang by boat in the afternoon.

Day 4: Luang Prabang – Kuangsi Waterfall (B)
An optional early start offers the opportunity to witness Tak Bat, Luang Prabang’s sacred alms-giving ceremony, where saffron-robed monks collect offerings from local residents in a centuries-old Buddhist tradition unique to Laos. Afterwards, explore the vibrant Morning Market, a fascinating glimpse into local daily life.
After breakfast, visit the Royal Palace Museum, showcasing a remarkable collection of royal artifacts, and the beautiful Wat Mai, one of Luang Prabang’s most revered temples. Continue to the spectacular Kuang Si Waterfall, famous for its cascading turquoise pools and lush jungle setting. Visit the nearby Bear Rescue Center, then enjoy time to swim, relax, or walk along the scenic forest trails before returning to Luang Prabang in the late afternoon.

Day 5: Luang Prabang – Departure (B)
After breakfast, enjoy free time at leisure to relax, explore Luang Prabang’s charming streets, or do some last-minute shopping before your transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
