Day 1: Arrival – Luang Prabang
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage city known for its golden temples, colonial charm, and scenic riverside setting. The rest of the day is free to explore at your leisure.

Day 2: Luang Prabang – City Tour (B)
After breakfast, explore Luang Prabang’s cultural treasures, beginning with Wat Sene, the city’s oldest temple, and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong, a masterpiece of classical Lao architecture renowned for its elegant sweeping roofs and intricate decorations. Continue to Wat Visoun, home to the city’s oldest and most impressive stupa.
Later, climb Mount Phousi to visit its sacred gilded stupa and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Luang Prabang, the Mekong River, and the surrounding mountains, especially at sunset. End the day at the vibrant Night Market, where local artisans and hill tribe communities offer beautiful handmade textiles and traditional handicrafts.

Day 3: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave (B)
After breakfast, visit Xang Khong Village, renowned for its traditional Saa paper making and hand-weaving crafts. Continue with a scenic Mekong River cruise, enjoying breathtaking views of the tranquil countryside along the way.
The journey leads to the sacred Pak Ou Caves, a revered pilgrimage site housing thousands of gold-lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. En route, stop at Ban Xang Hai Village, famous for its locally produced rice wine, and admire the dramatic Pha An Limestone Cliff, one of the Mekong’s most striking natural landmarks.
Return to Luang Prabang by boat in the afternoon.

Day 4: Luang Prabang – Kuangsi Waterfall – Vientiane by Train (B)
An optional early start offers the chance to witness Tak Bat, Luang Prabang’s sacred alms-giving ceremony, where saffron-robed monks collect offerings from local residents in a centuries-old Buddhist tradition unique to Laos. Afterwards, explore the lively Morning Market, a colorful showcase of local culture and daily life.
After breakfast, visit the Royal Palace Museum, home to a fascinating collection of royal artifacts, and the beautiful Wat Mai, one of Luang Prabang’s most important temples. Continue to the spectacular Kuang Si Waterfall, famous for its cascading turquoise pools and lush forest setting. Visit the nearby Bear Rescue Center, then enjoy time to swim, relax, or stroll along the scenic nature trails.
Return to Luang Prabang in the afternoon and transfer to the train station for your journey to Vang Vieng, renowned for its dramatic limestone mountains and stunning natural landscapes. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 5: Vang Vieng – Hiking - Cave – Kayaking – Blue Lagoon (B)
After breakfast, venture into Vang Vieng’s spectacular natural landscapes with a hike to Nam Xay Viewpoint, where breathtaking panoramic views of the town, limestone karst mountains, and surrounding countryside await.
Continue to the fascinating Tham Nang Fa (Angel Cave), renowned for its stunning limestone formations and chambers filled with stalactites and stalagmites, accompanied by local legends and folklore. Afterwards, enjoy an exciting kayaking adventure on the Nam Song River, taking in the region’s dramatic scenery from the water.
Visit Tham Jang Cave, one of Vang Vieng’s most famous limestone caves, before unwinding at the beautiful Blue Lagoon, known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and peaceful natural setting.

Day 6: Vang Vieng - Vientiane City Tour (B) by Road
After breakfast, drive to Vientiane (approximately 1.5 hours). Upon arrival, explore the capital’s most iconic landmarks, beginning with Wat Sisaket, the oldest surviving temple in the city, renowned for its thousands of miniature Buddha statues. Continue to Wat Ho Phra Keo, the former royal temple that once housed the revered Emerald Buddha.
Visit Talad Sao (Morning Market), a popular shopping destination for local handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs. Then discover the magnificent That Luang Stupa, Laos’ most sacred monument and national symbol, famous for its striking golden architecture. Conclude the tour with a photo stop at the iconic Patuxay Monument, often referred to as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triomphe.

Day 7: Vientiane – Shopping Center – Lao Art Museum - Buddha Park (B)
After breakfast, enjoy some shopping at Parkson Shopping Center, a great place to browse for local products and souvenirs for family and friends. Continue to the Lao Art Museum, where you can discover the country’s rich artistic heritage and contemporary cultural expressions.
Later, drive to Vientiane, stopping en route at the fascinating Buddha Park (Xieng Khuan), one of Laos’ most unique attractions. The park features more than 200 Buddhist and Hindu-inspired sculptures, including a spectacular 40-meter-long reclining Buddha. Climb to the top of the park’s iconic giant pumpkin structure for panoramic views and excellent photo opportunities overlooking the extraordinary sculpture garden.
Continue to Vientiane and check in to your hotel.

Day 8: Vientiane – Departure (B)
After breakfast, enjoy free time at leisure until you transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
