Day 1: Saigon - Arrival
Upon arrival in Saigon, you will be picked up from airport to a hotel in Saigon for relax, overnight at proposed hotel. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 2: Saigon City Tour (B, L)
Full day city tour, visit Former Presidential Palace, the War Crime Museum, the central complex of architecture: the Notre Dame Cathedral, the City Hall, the Municipal Theater, Xa Loi Pagoda, Ben Thanh market. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 3: Saigon - My Tho - Can Tho (B, L)
Leave Ho Chi Minh city, enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh - a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of the water coconut trees along natural canals. Have a short cycling tour then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by the locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through fruit plantations and villages. Proceed to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 4: Can Tho - Saigon (B, L)
Take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river (Bassac River), then proceed to Cai Rang floating markets, which are the liveliest in the whole religion.
Have you ever tasted Vietnamese vermicelli soup? Well, now go and see how it is made. Then wander around the village and meet the friendly local people and experience how to cross a "Monkey bridge" which is built by only one stem of bamboo. Stop for lunch. On the way back to HCM city by bus the last stop is to visit to Mangrove forest which was a former Viet Cong base used by the guerrillas during the War. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 5: Saigon - Nha Trang (B, L) - by flight
After breakfast, you are transferred to airport for flight to Nha Trang. Upon arrival you are picked up to hotel for check in. Relax in the rest day. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 6: Nha Trang - Da Nang - Hoi An (B, L) - by flight
Free and easy in the morning. Then take flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival you will be taken to Hoi An, on the way, we will visit Cham Museum & Marble Mountain. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An - Hue (B, L)
AM: Take a walking tour of the ancient town center to visit the former merchants ’homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful market.PM: Drive to Hue, on the way visit Lang Co Beach, Hai Van Pass. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue City Tour (B, L)
AM: Visit Royal Citadel which was constructed by Emperor Gia Long in the style of French military architect Vauban during the first decades of the 19th century. Before leaving the site of Imperial city we visit Imperial Museum, many precious objects which were salvaged from the Imperial city then we visit Khai Dinh Tomb, have lunch. PM: A boat trip along Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda, Minh Mang tomb, visit Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.
Day 9: Hue - Hanoi (B, L) - by flight
Take flight to Hanoi at 08:30. Upon arrival, you will be picked up to visit Hanoi city include: Ho Chi Minh Complex for visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Museum and One pillar pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda. Continue to visit Literature temple, the first University in Vietnam in 16th century. Have lunch in one of famous restaurant in Hanoi. PM: Visit ethnological museum then have cyclo in the old quarter and visit Dong Xuan market, enjoy water puppet show in the afternoon. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 10: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)
07:30 - 07:45 Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi. Drive to Halong Bay. Enjoy the peaceful scenery as we travel through the countryside, farmlands and Red River delta.
10:30 Stopover on the way for short break
12:30 Arrive at Hon Gai wharf - Meet the captain, crews and join us for a welcome drink, cruise briefing, safety instructions and check-in cabins.
13:00 Lunch with fresh seafood is served while cruising towards Vong Vieng floating village, passing through extraordinary shaped-islands.
15:30 Drop anchor at Vong Vieng: visit local houses, fish farm, schools and have a chat with the friendly fish men. (You also swim here if you like) The other option is to travel by kayak (passenger row kayaks for themselves). The kayaking option is $10.00 per person unless pre-booked.
17:00 Back on board, enjoy the sunset and continue cruising to Luom Bo for anchoring.
19:00 Dinner is served.
21:00 Enjoy the comfort in your cabin or night fishing… Overnight on junk.
Day 11: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B)
06:30 Enjoy the bay’s morning landscape with a cup of tea or coffee.
07:30 Lightly breakfast is served.
08:30 Explore the mystery of Sung Sot cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay.
09:30 Back on board, continue cruising, enjoy the stunning views of the Bay and relax.
10:30 Lunch is served on board while cruising back through Halong Bay to the pier.
12:00 Arrive Hon Gai wharf. Farewell.
12:30 Return from Halong to Hanoi.
14:30 Stop-over in Dong Trieu town to visit a ceramics workshop.
16:30 Arrive in Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 12: Hanoi - Departure (B)
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Later today, transfer to the airport to check in for your return flight to your home. End of services.
